50 West 72nd Street

Zaskorski & Notaro designed the Historic Preservation of the facade of 50 West 72nd Street, a NYC Landmark. The original Design by Sugarman and Berger, the Architects of the New Yorker Hotel on 34th Street.

Construction included: Lobby restoration, residential corridors, apartment renovation and the replacement of an aluminum and glass façade installed in 1950 with the design of an appropriate limestone façade including brass doors, awnings, signage, and lighting at ground floor. ZNA worked with engineering consultants for HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing riser and branch replacement.

The project required a public hearing with the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission.
