The Grinnell

The Grinnell is a nine story residential multiple dwelling completed in 1910, fully occupying a triangular shaped city block framed by West 157th Street, Riverside Drive and Edward Morgan Place. Construction is resistive steel frame with masonry exterior, terra cotta, stone details, and concrete slab. ZNA designed and is administering an exterior restoration project identifying areas on the exterior and roof that require extensive repairs. ZNA has prepared details to fully restore the ornate and beautiful terracotta bulkheads and decorative masonry of the exterior facades and the severely damaged and sagging copper cornice to a like new condition.
