Most Precious Blood Church

Long Island City, NY

The church was designed in a bold Art Deco style by preeminent architects, McGill and Hamlin who specialized in ecclesiastical buildings, and erected in 1932.

Zaskorski and Notaro prepared an exterior building conditions and deficiencies assessment report with a preliminary cost estimate. The repair work was organized into eighteen (18) areas of concern based on observations of interior damage and inspections of the corresponding exterior building envelope conditions in order to determine the underlying construction deficiencies. Priority was given to those issues which, if ignored, would result in severe structural damage or jeopardizing life safety in the near future.
